Decree No. 99/2018/ND-CP dated July 12, 2018 of the Government on prescribing levels of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious service to the revolution

DECREE

Prescribing levels of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious service to the revolution^[1] 

Pursuant to the June 19, 2015 Law on Organization of the Government;

Pursuant to the June 29, 2005 Ordinance on Preferential Treatment of People with Meritorious Service to the Revolution; and the July 16, 2012 Ordinance Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment of People with Meritorious Service to the Revolution;

Pursuant to the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 49/2017/QH14 of November 13, 2017, on the 2018 state budget estimates;

At the proposal of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs;

The Government promulgates the Decree prescribing levels of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious service to the revolution.  

Article 1.Standard level for determination of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious service to the revolution and levels of subsidies and allowances

1. The standard level for determination of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious service to the revolution specified in this Decree is VND 1,515,000.

2. Levels of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious service to the revolution include:

a/ Levels of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious service to the revolution provided in Appendix I to this Decree;

b/ Levels of injury-based allowances for war invalids and people enjoying policies like war invalids provided in Appendix II to this Decree;

c/ Levels of injury-based allowances for class-B war invalids provided in Appendix III to this Decree.

Article 2.Funds for implementation

The central budget funds shall be allocated for the implementation of the subsidy and allowance regimes prescribed in this Decree.

Article 3.Effect

1. This Decree takes effect on August 27, 2018.

2. The Government’s Decree No. 70/2017/ND/CP of June 6, 2017, on levels of subsidies and preferential allowances for people with meritorious service to the revolution, ceases to be effective on July 1, 2018. 

3. The levels of subsidies and preferential allowances defined in this Decree shall be applied from July 1, 2018.

Article 4.Implementation responsibility

The Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs,otherministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, and chairpersons of provincial-level People’s Committees shall implement this Decree.-
