DECISION
Providing the list of wastes permitted for import from overseas for use as production materials
Pursuant to the December 25, 2001 Law on Organization of the Government;
Pursuant to the June 23, 2014 Law on Environmental Protection;
At the proposal of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment,
The Prime Minister promulgates the Decision providing the list of wastes permitted for import from overseas for use as production materials.
Article 1.To promulgate together with the Decision the list of wastes permitted for import from overseas for use as production materials.
Article 2.This Decision applies to the import of wastes from overseas for use as production materials and does not apply to the temporary import for re-export, border-gate transfer and transit via the Vietnamese territory of wastes.
Article 3.The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with related ministries and sectors in, elaborating and promulgating national technical regulations on environmental requirements for wastes on the list of those permitted for import from overseas for use as production materials promulgated together with this Decision.
Article 4.This Decision takes effect on February 5, 2015.
Article 5.The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment shall guide, inspect and supervise the implementation of this Decision.
Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, chairpersons of provincial-level People’s Committees and related organizations and individuals shall implement this Decision.
