DECISION

Amending and supplementing the list of high technologies prioritized for development investment and the list of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion promulgated together with the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 66/2014/QD-TTg of November 25, 2014[1]

Pursuant to the June 19, 2015 Law on Organization of the Government;

Pursuant to the November 13, 2008 Law on High Technologies;

At the proposal of the Minister of Science and Technology;

The Prime Minister promulgates the Decision amending and supplementing the list of high technologies prioritized for development investment and the list of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion promulgated together with the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 66/2014/QD-TTg of November 25, 2014.

Article 1.To amend the names of a number of technologies and products on the list of high technologies prioritized for development investment and the list of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion promulgated together with the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 66/2014/QD-TTg of November 25, 2014

1. To amend the names of a number of technologies in the list of high technologies prioritized for development investment as follows:

a/ In No. 5: To modify “Technology for assuring high-level network security and safety, and information confidentiality” into “Technology for assuring network security and safety, and information confidentiality”;

b/ In No. 9: To modify “Next-generation network technology (NGN, LTE-A, IMT-advanced)” into “Next-generation network technology (NGN, 4G, 5G)”;

c/ In No. 10: To modify “Technology of virtualization and cloud calculation” into “Technology of virtualization and cloud computing”.

2. To amend the names of a number of products in the list of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion as follows:

a/ In No. 2: To modify “Software assuring high-level network security and safety, and information confidentiality” into “Software, solution and service assuring network security and safety, and information confidentiality”;

b/ In No. 18: To modify “Equipment assuring high-level network security and safety, and information confidentiality” into “Equipment assuring network security and safety, and information confidentiality”;

c/ In No. 22: To modify “Next-generation network equipment, software and accessories (NGN, LTE-A, IMT-advanced)” into “Next-generation network module, equipment and software (NGN, 4G, 5G)”.

Article 2.To supplement the list of high technologies prioritized for development investment and the list of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion promulgated together with the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 66/2014/QD-TTg of November 25, 2014

1. To supplement the list of high technologies prioritized for development investment as follows:

a/ To add No. 59: Internet of Things (IoT) technology;

b/ To add No. 60: Virtual Reality technology; Augmented Reality technology;

c/ To add No. 61: Smart television technology;

d/ To add No. 62: Three-dimensional (3D) printing technology.

2. To supplement the list of hi-tech products eligible for development promotion as follows:

a/ To add No. 115: IoT module, equipment, software and solution;

b/ To add No. 116: Software, equipment, solution and service of virtualization and cloud computing;

c/ To add No. 117: Software, equipment, solution and service for e-government, e-enterprise, e-commerce, e-training and e-advertisement;

d/ To add No. 118: Software, equipment, solution and service of virtual reality and augmented reality;

dd/ To add No. 119: Software, equipment and solution of smart television;

e/ To add No. 120: Software, equipment, solution and service of automatic software testing;

g/ To add No. 121: Information technology consultancy and designing service;

h/ To add No. 122: Service of integrating information technology system;

i/ To add No. 123: Service of administering information technology system;

k/ To add No. 124: Service of leasing information technology system;

l/ To add No. 125: Big data processing, analysis and exploitation service;

m/ To add No. 126: Electric BPO, KPO and ITO services;

n/ To add No. 127: E-signature authentication service;

o/ To add No. 128: Digital content establishment service;

p/ To add No. 129: Service of assessing and verifying network security and safety and information confidentiality;

q/ To add No. 130: Three-dimensional (3D) printing software, equipment, solution and service.

Article 3.Implementation provisions

This Decision takes effect on June 15, 2017.

Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies and chairpersons of provincial-level People’s Committees shall implement this Decision.-
