This content is prescribed at the Resolution No. 73/2018/QH14 on allocation of central budget funds in 2019 which was adopted on November 14, 2018, by the National Assembly at its 6^th session.

2 CONDITIONS FOR QUICK ISSUANCE
OF A NEW REGISTRATION NUMBER OF MEDICAL DEVICE
 

Decree No. 169/2018/ND-CP on amendments to the Government's Decree No. 36/2016/ND-CP Dated May 15, 2016 on medical device management is issued by the Government on December 31, 2018 and takes effect on the signing date.

To be specific, medical device shall be quickly issuance of a new registration number in the following circumstances:

- The medical device has been placed on the market in at least 02 of the following countries: Japan, Canada, Australia, EU member states;

+ It has been placed on the market for at least 03 years in the last 05 years before the application date;

+ There is no warning against its quality and safety.

Noticeably, the registration number holder shall organize and manage the tracing of origins of medical devices on the market and retain documents for management of the medical devices. The following documents are mandatory: The application for registration of medical devices; Distribution documents; Logs of adverse events; Medical device quality control documents.

The Scheme on restructuring the tourism industry to meet requirements for development into a spearhead economic sector is approved in the Decision No. 1685/QD-TTg by the Prime Minister.

One of the target of the Scheme is by 2015, the total tourism revenue will reach USD 45 billion, the tourism-based export value will attain USD 27 million, and the tourism industry will contribute over 10% of GDP; 6 million jobs…

LAW ON CROP PRODUCTION:
TO STRICTLY MANAGE FERTILIZERS CIRCULATING IN VIETNAM
 

The Law on Crop Production No. 31/2018/QH14 is passed in the 6^th plenary session by the National Assembly on November 19, 2018. This Law provides for crop production activities; rights and obligations of crop farming entities and persons; state management of plant production activities.

Requirements for issuance of the decision on recognition of fertilizers in circulation in Vietnam conclude:

- Meet quality indicators according to national technical standards regarding fertilizer quality;

- Gain testing results conforming to national standards, except the fertilizers referred to in clause 2 of Article 39 herein.

DURATION FOR PROTECTION OF
STATE TOP SECRETS IS 30 YEARS
 

The Law No. 29/2018/QH14 on Protection of State Secrets is issued by the National Assembly on November 15, 2018.

To be specific, the duration for protection of state secrets shall be counted from the date of identification of the degrees of secrecy of such state secrets to the date of expiry of the following duration:

- 30 years, for state secrets classified as top secret;

- 20 years, for state secrets classified as secret;

- 10 years, for state secrets classified as confidential.

The duration for protection of state secrets in terms of operation may be shorter than the duration prescribed inClause 1 Article 19 of this Law, and shall be specified in state secret-containing documents or objects upon the identification of the degrees of secrecy of such state secrets. The duration for protection of state secrets in terms of location may expire when competent agencies or organizations no longer use such location for storage of state secrets.

This Law takes effect on July 1, 2020, except for provisions regarding the compilation, appraisal and promulgation of the list of state secrets, the duration for protection of state secrets, and extension of the duration for protection of state secrets, take effect on January 1, 2019.
