Official Dispatch No. 3603/LDTBXH-LDTL dated October 25, 2011 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs on applied regions for region-based minimum wage levels

To:  Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation

On answering the Official Dispatch No. 1512/XD-TCNS dated October 17, 2011 of Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation on applied regions for region-based minimum wage levels, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs has opinions as follows:

1/ In compliance with point (b), paragraph 3, Article 3 of the Circular No. 23/2011/TT-BLDTBXH dated September 16, 2011 of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs guiding the implementation of region-based minimum wage levels for laborers working for companies, enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative groups, farms, households and individuals and other agencies, organizations employing laborers, enterprises having units, branches operating in the areas with the various region-based minimum wage levels, the unit or branch operating in a certain area, shall apply the region-based minimum wage level of such area, within that there are no conditions on account, seal, accounting regime, scale of labors or enterprise rate for units and branches.

2/ In the case that Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation has units (company offices, petroleum shops operating in the areas with the various region-based minimum wage levels, company offices, petroleum shops operating in a certain area, shall apply the region-based minimum wage level of such area.

Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation is suggested to guide member units for implementing in compliance with state regulations./.
