- Hanoi’s Center for Disease Control;
- Health centers of districts and towns.
In the implementation of the Official Dispatch No. 4697/UBND-KGVX dated December 28, 2021 of Hanoi People's Committee, on taking measures for COVID-19 prevention and control applicable to people on entry, the Department of Health requests as follows:
1. For Hanoi’s Center for Disease Control
- To implement international health quarantine for people on entry in accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Health and the City.
- To guide, inspect and urge health centers of districts and towns to take measures for COVID-19 prevention and control applicable to people on entry in accordance with the guidance provided in the Official Dispatch No. 4697/UBND-KGVX.
- To coordinate with districts and towns in monitoring people on entry, especially those who are from countries where the Omicron variant is reported.
- For health centers of districts and towns
- To direct health stations to consult People's Committees of communes, wards and townships to strictly manage people on entry. From January 01, 2022, the quarantine and health monitoring shall comply with the Document No. 4697/UBND-KGVX of Hanoi People's Committee.
+ People on entry who have received full doses of COVID-19 vaccines or have recovered from COVID-19: shall self-monitor their health at the places of residence for 3 days; conduct SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test on the third day from the entry date. If the test result is negative, they shall continue to monitor their health until the end of the 14th day from the entry date;
+ Unvaccinated people on entry or those who have not received full doses of COVID-19 vaccines shall be subject to 7-day quarantine at the places of residence from the date of entry; and shall be tested for SARS-CoV-2 by RT-PCR method on the 3rd and 7th days. If the test result is negative, they shall continue to monitor their health until the end of the 14th day.
- To strictly comply with measures for pandemic prevention and control provided by the Ministry of Health; conduct tests and impose quarantine measures, provide treatment for cases with positive test results according to regulations.
The Department of Health hereby informs concerned units for strict implementation./.
