Official dispatch No. 10525/VPCP-KGVX dated December 12, 2013 of the Government Office regulating the Tet holidays and change of weekend in 2014 holidays for cadres, civil servants and staffs
Respectfully to: The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs
At the proposal of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (On document No. 89/TTr-LĐTBXH dated November 21, 2013 on the Lunar New Year holidays and the change of holidays in 2014 for cadres, civil servants and staffs. The Prime Minister has issued following regulations:
1. Cadres, civil servants and staffs will take the leave on Tet 2014 from January 28, 2013 to the end of February 5, 2014. They will work for the compensated days on Saturday, January 25, 2014 and Saturday, February 8, 2014.
2. The Prime Minister approved the proposal made by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on the change of the holidays during the Lunar New Year 2014 for cadres, civil servants and staffs at the document No. 89/TTr-LĐTBXH dated November 21, 2013 as follows:
a) On Unification Day and May Day: The holidays will be taken on Friday, May 2, 2014 and people will work for compensated day on Saturday, April 26, 2014.
b) On Independence Day: The holidays will be taken on Monday, September 1, 2014 and people will work for compensated day on Saturday, September 6, 2014.
Units and organizations that do not follow the holiday schedule on weekend as Saturday and Sunday will base on their specific plan to arrange suitable holiday schedule.
3. Prime Minister gives authority to Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to inform the Tet holidays schedule and the change of holidays in 2014 in Point 1 and 2 above.
The Government Office give notification to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to be informed and take implementation.
