Decree 99/2024/ND-CP amend Decree 83/2022/ND-CP on retirement later than the prescribed retirement ages

DECREE

Amending and supplementing Point p, Clause 1, Article 2 of the Government’s Decree No. 83/2022/ND-CP of October 18, 2022, providing regulations on retirement later than the prescribed retirement ages applicable to cadres and civil servants holding leadership or manager titles

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015; Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Administration dated November 22, 2019;

Pursuant to the Labor Code dated November 20, 2019;

Pursuant to the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants dated November 13, 2008; Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants and Law on Public Employees dated November 25, 2019;

At the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs;

The Government promulgates the Decree providing Amending and supplementing Point p, Clause 1, Article 2 of the Government’s Decree No. 83/2022/ND-CP of October 18, 2022, providing regulations on retirement later than the prescribed retirement ages applicable to cadres and civil servants holding leadership or manager titles.

Article 1. To amend Point p, Clause 1, Article 2 of the Government’s Decree No. 83/2022/ND-CP dated October 18, 2022, providing regulations on retirement later than the prescribed retirement ages applicable to cadres and civil servants holding leadership or manager titles

“p) Members of the Standing Committee of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City Party Committees.”

Article 2. Effect

This Decree takes effect from the date of signing for promulgation.

Article 3. Implementation responsibility

Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-attached agencies, Chairpersons of People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities and related agencies, organizations and units shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decree.
