DECISION

Approving the Scheme on “Strengthening emergency and intensive care capacity for hospitals treating severe COVID-19 patients”

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment dated November 23, 2009;

Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to the Decision No. 447/QD-TTg dated April 01, 2020, on announcement of the COVID-19 epidemic;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 75/2017/ND-CP dated August 20, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

At the proposal of the Director of the Medical Services Administration and the Director of the Planning and Finance Department under the Ministry of Health,

DECIDES:

Article 1. To approve the Scheme on “Strengthening emergency and intensive care capacity for hospitals treating severe COVID-19 patients”.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect on the date of its signing,

Article 3. The Director of the Medical Services Administration, the Chief of the Ministry Office, Chief Inspector of the Ministry’s Inspectorate; Director Generals and Directors of Directorates, Authorities and Departments under the Ministry of Health; Directors of Hospitals and Institutes under the Ministry of Health; Directors of provincial Departments of Health; Heads in charge of healthcare of ministries and sectors, Directors of hospitals participating in this Scheme and Heads of relevant units shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
