DECISION

RATIFYING THE STATUTE (AMENDED) OF THE VIETNAM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;

Considering the results of the 3rd National Congress of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry on March 28-29, 1997;

At the proposal of the Minister-Chairman of the Government Commission on Organization and Personnel,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To ratify the Statute (amended) of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry which was adopted by the 3rd National Congress of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry on March 29, 1997 (the full text is attached to this Decision).

Article 2.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its signing and replaces Decision No.203-TTg of April 27, 1993.

Article 3.- The President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Minister-Chairman of the Government Commission on Organization and Personnel, the Ministers, the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of the agencies attached to the Government and the Presidents of the Peoples Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall have to implement this Decision.
