DECISION

On organization of propaganda, dissemination and promotion of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minority traditional costumes in association with tourism development

MINISTER OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 79/2017/ND-CP dated July 17, 2017, on defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism;

Pursuant to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Decision No. 209/QD-BVHTTDL dated January 18, 2019, on ratifying the Scheme “Preserving and promoting traditional costumes of Vietnamese ethnic minorities in the current period”;

Pursuant to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Decision No. 100/QD-BVHTTDL dated January 09, 2020, on promulgating the working plan in 2020 of the Department of Ethnic Culture;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Ethnic Culture.

DECIDES:

Article 1. The Department of Ethnic Culture is assigned to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and relevant agencies and units in organizing the propaganda, dissemination and promotion of the intangible cultural heritage of ethnic minority traditional costumes in association with tourism development (with attached detailed Plan).

Implementation time: Quarter IV, 2020.

Article 2. Funding for the implementation shall be extracted from the 2020 non-business budget of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism granted to the Department of Ethnic Culture through the Ministry Office.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect on the date of its signing.
