DECISION
ON THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S OFFICE
THE PRIME MINISTER OF THE GOVERNMENT
- Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated September 30, 1992 ;
- In considerations of the Minister and Director of the Government'sOffice and the Minister-Chairmen of the Government's Committee on Organization-Personnel,
DECIDES:
Article 1. The organizational structure of the Government's Officeis composed of :
a. Departments and services of equivalent level :
1. The General Department;
2. The Legislation Department;
3. The Department for General Economy;
4. The Department for Sectorial Economy;
5. The Department for Internal Affairs;
6. The Department for Scientific, Educational, Cultural and SocialAffairs;
7. The Department for International Relations;
8. The Department for Protocols;
9. The Organization-Personnel Department;
10. The Administration Department;
11. The Department for Locality I;
12. The Department for Locality II (which is to monitor branches ofactivities and localities in provinces from Quang Nam - Da Nang province southwards);
13. The Information Center;
14. The Administration Department I;
15. The Administration Department II (headquartered in Ho Chi MinhCity)
16. The Accounting Department.
b. Advisors' Groups of the Prime Minister (Deputy Prime Ministers) areput under the administration control of the Minister and Director of the Office butassigned by the Prime Minister (Deputy Prime Ministers).
The Minister and Director of the Office will define detailed tasks,full-time staff and working relations of the above organizations.
Article 2. Each Department, Service, Center, or Bureau headed by a Director. Assisting a Department Director, Service Director, Center’s Director, or Bureau's Head will be some Department Deputy Directors, Service Deputy Directors,Center’s Deputy Directors, or Bureau's Deputy Heads.
The above posts will be appointed and/or released by the Minister and Director of the Office.
Article 3. This Decision comes into force as from the date of its promulgation and replaces all previous stipulations on the organizational structure of the Office of the Council of Ministers, now the Government.
Article 4. The Minister and Director of the Government’sOffice, the Minister and Head of the Government's Committee on Organization and Personnel,and other Ministers and Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for the implementationof this Decision.
