Promulgating the Plan for prevention and control of
infectious diseases in 2022

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 75/2017/ND-CP dated June 20, 2017 on defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

At the proposal of Director of the General Department of Preventive Medicine,

DECIDES:

Article 1. Promulgating together with this Decision “the Plan for prevention and control of infectious diseases in 2022”.

Article 2. The Plan for prevention and control of infectious diseases in 2022 shall be a basis for the Departments of Health of provinces and cities to formulate their specific plans and submit them to their People’s Committees of provinces and cities for approval and allocation of the funding for performance of activities of supervision, prevention and control of infectious diseases in the localities. Departments under the Ministry of Health, units under the Ministry of Health and related units shall, within their assigned functions and tasks, proactively develop plans for implementation.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect on the signing date.

Article 4. The Chief of Ministry Office; the Chief of Inspectorate of Ministry; Directors and General Directors of Departments and General Departments of the Ministry of Health; Directors of hospitals of the Ministry of Health; Directors of Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Pasteur Institute, and National Institute of Malariology Parasitology and Entomology; Director of the National Center for Health Communication and Education; Directors of Health Departments of provinces and centrally-run cities; Heads of medical units of ministries and branches; Heads of relevant units shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision./.
