CIRCULAR

On Amendment 1:2023 QCVN 06:2022/BXD

National Technical Regulation on Fire Safety of Buildings and Constructions

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP dated August 01, 2007, detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations; and the Government’s Decree No. 78/2018/ND-CP dated May 16, 2018, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 52/2022/ND-CP dated August 08, 2022, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;

At the proposal of the Director of the Science, Technology and Environment Department;

The Minister of Construction promulgates the Circular on Amendment 1:2023 QCVN 06:2022/BXD - National Technical Regulation on Fire Safety of Buildings and Constructions.

Article 1. To issue together with this Circular the Amendment 1:2023 QCVN 06:2022/BXD - National Technical Regulation on Fire Safety of Buildings and Constructions.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from December 01, 2023.

Article 3. Transitional provisions

1. The construction design dossiers that have been approved for fire prevention and fighting designs by competent state management agencies before the effective date of this Circular shall continue to comply with the approved design dossiers.

2. The construction design dossiers, for which the competent state management agencies’ written comments on fire prevention and fighting designs at the basic design step have been given, but have not been approved for the fire prevention and fighting designs before the effective date of this Circular shall continue to be approved according to the written comments.

3. The construction design dossiers that have not been commented and approved for fire prevention and fighting designs by the state management agencies since the effective date of this Circular must comply with the provisions of QCVN 06:2022/BXD and Amendment 1:2023 QCVN 06:2022/BXD.

Article 4. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government-attached agencies, People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities and related organizations and individuals shall implement this Circular./.
