CIRCULAR

Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Ministry of Health’s Circular No. 14/2013/TT-BYT dated May 06, 2013, guiding medical examination

Pursuant to the Law on Occupational Safety and Health No. 84/2015/QH13 dated June 25, 2015;

Pursuant to the Labor Code No. 45/2019/QH14 dated November 20, 2019;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 145/2020/ND-CP dated December 14, 2020, detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Labor Code regarding working conditions and industrial relations;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 95/2022/ND-CP dated November 15, 2022, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

At the proposal of Director of Department of Maternal Health and Children and Director of the Department of Medical Service Administration;

The Minister of Health promulgates the Circular amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Ministry of Health’s Circular No. 14/2013/TT-BYT dated May 06, 2013, guiding medical examination.

Article 1. Amending and supplementing a number of articles and Appendices of the Ministry of Health’s Circular No. 14/2013/TT-BYT dated May 06, 2013, guiding medical examination

1. To amend Point a Clause 4 Article 4 as follows:

“a) Periodical medical examination book, made according to the set form in Appendix 3a promulgated together with this Circular.”

2. To amend and supplement Clause 3 Article 6 as follows:

“3. For case of periodical medical examination: Examining under contents inscribed in periodical medical examination book specified in Appendix 3a promulgated together with this Circular.

For female employees, when having periodical medical examination, they are entitled to get obstetrics and gynecology examinations according to the list specified in Appendix 3b promulgated together with this Circular.”

Article 2. Effect

1. This Circular takes effect on June 20, 2023.

2. The Appendix No. 3a of this Circular replaces the Appendix No. 3 of the Ministry of Health’s Circular No. 14/2013/TT-BYT dated May 06, 2013, guiding medical examination.

Article 3. Implementation organization

1. Director of Department of Maternal Health and Children, Director of the Department of Medical Service Administration, Heads of units under the Ministry of Health, Directors of Health Departments of provinces and centrally run cities and relevant units, organizations and individuals shall assume the responsibility for implementing this Circular.

2. Any difficulties arising in the course of implementation should be promptly reported to the Ministry of Health (the Department of Maternal Health and Children; the Department of Medical Service Administration) for consideration and settlement./.
