Circular 17/2024/TT-BCT amend Circular 22/2019/TT-BTC on suspension of border-gate transfer, temporary import of plywood for re-export to United States

CIRCULAR

Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Minister of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 22/2019/TT-BTC dated November 12, 2019, on suspension of border-gate transfer and temporary import of plywood into Vietnam for re-export to the United States

Pursuant to the Law on Foreign Trade Management dated June 12, 2017;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 96/2022/ND-CP dated November 29, 2022, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which was amended and supplemented under the Government's Decree No. 105/2024/ND-CP dated August 1, 2024;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management;

At the proposal of the Director General of the Agency of Foreign Trade;

The Minister of Industry and Trade hereby promulgates the Circular amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Minister of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 22/2019/TT-BTC dated November 12, 2019, on suspension of border-gate transfer and temporary import of plywood into Vietnam for re-export to the United States.

Article 1. Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Minister of Industry and Trade’s Circular No. 22/2019/TT-BTC dated November 12, 2019, on suspension of border-gate transfer and temporary import of plywood into Vietnam for re-export to the United States

1. To add Article 3a after Article 3 as follows:

“Article 3a. Responsibility for implementation organization

1. In case the legal documents referred to in this Circular are amended, supplemented or replaced, the amending, supplementing or replacing ones shall prevail.

2. Any problem arising in the course of implementation of this Circular should be reported in writing to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for settlement.”

2. To amend and supplement Article 4 as follows:

“Article 4. Effect

This Circular takes effect from December 27, 2019, through December 31, 2029.”

Article 2. Effect

This Circular takes effect from November 25, 2024./.
