Official Dispatch No. 3856/UBND-VX dated October 08, 2020 of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City regarding the implementation of Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control in the new situation

To:

- Heads of Departments, sectors, and branches;

- Chairpersons of People's Committees of districts, wards, communes, and towns.

In the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Official Telegram No. 1300/CD-TTg dated September 24, 2020, on the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic;

Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee requests Heads of Departments, sectors and branches, Chairpersons of People's Committees of districts, wards, communes, and towns to continue complying with directions of the Prime Minister and the National Steering Committee, the municipal party committee, and City People's Committee in the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic; not to neglect or be subjective in the face of pandemic risk; in which there are some specific contents as follows:

1. To strictly comply with the following measures: To wear face masks when leaving home, when being in public areas and public transport vehicles; to regularly wash hands with soap or hand sanitizers; to limit mass gathering in public areas; to keep a safe distance when being in contact with others.

2. To strengthen the inspection and rectification, ensure the full and serious implementation of pandemic prevention and control measures within the scope of management; to strictly handle cases of violations.
