- Chairpersons of People's Committees of districts, towns, and city;
Currently, the COVID-19 pandemic remains complicated in the province, in order to focus on preventing and stamping out the pandemic, re-establishing a new normal soon, the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee hereby decides:
1. Social distancing measure in line with the Prime Minister's Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020, shall continue to be imposed in the province (except Con Dao District) for another 14 days, from 00:00 on August 26, 2021.
2. Heads of departments, agencies, sectors, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control and Chairpersons of People's Committees of districts, towns, and city must not be subjective, lethargic, or lose their vigilance; and always be ready for any possible pandemic situations; continue to strictly and thoroughly implement the Directive No. 16/CT-TTg, the Official Telegram No. 1102/CD-TTg dated August 23, 2021, of the Prime Minister, directions provided by the provincial People's Committee in the following Official Dispatches: No. 8614/UBND-VP dated July 17, 2021, No. 9579/UBND-VP dated July 31, 2021, No. 10454/UBND-VP dated August 15, 2021, and relevant regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control, with the spirit that stricter restrictions could be imposed. They must assign specific tasks and responsibilities for the right persons in order to soon re-establishing a new normal in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province as planned; strengthen the inspection and urge the strict implementation of regulations; timely detect difficulties and problems for handling.
3. Leaders of departments, agencies, and sectors must show greater responsibility and determination in pandemic prevention; proactively implement drastic and effective solutions according to assigned functions and tasks, and at the same time regularly grasp the situation, pay attention to coordinate, share and support localities in pandemic prevention and control, ensuring security, order, and social security.
4. The social distancing measure in line with the Prime Minister's Directive No. 15/CT-TTg dated March 27, 2020, shall be extended in Con Dao District, from 00:00 on August 26, 2021, until the new notice is issued.
The People's Committee of Con Dao District shall continue to strictly implement pandemic prevention and control regulations; strive to maintain achieved results and strengthen measures to ensure security, order, and social safety; not to be passive or surprised; continue to suspend means of passenger transport by water and by air to Con Dao (except for cases permitted by competent authorities). The essential cargo transport route by water to Con Dao may continue to operate, but the number of people working on the ship must be strictly controlled and they must strictly comply with the mandatory regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
5. Authorities at all levels and sectors shall be responsible for effectively implement the social security works, taking care of the people’s life and essential needs. To mobilize all social forces for the pandemic prevention and control, leave anyone in the province lacking food; heads of authorities at all levels must take responsibilities before the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control and the provincial People’s Committee for their untimely support for citizen in difficult circumstances.
6. The Vietnam Fatherland Front and unions in the province are requested to continue to promote their role, take practical and effective actions, strengthen propaganda, provide instructions, explanations and mobilize the people to strictly comply with social distancing rules and pandemic prevention and control measures; uphold the spirit of solidarity, promote the spirit of “every citizen is a soldier; each family, neighborhood or residential group is a fortress in pandemic prevention”./.
