CIRCULAR

On the List of major crop species

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 15/2017/ND-CP dated February 17, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

Pursuant to the Law on Crop Production dated November 19, 2018;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Crop Production;

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgates the Circular on the List of major crop species.

Article 1. To promulgate the List of major crop species, including: rice, corn, coffee, oranges, grapefruit, bananas.

The List of major crop species shall be reviewed, amended and supplemented in accordance with each development period.

Article 2. This Circular takes effect from January 01, 2020; replaces the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development’s Decision 58/2004/QD-BNN dated November 04, 2004, promulgating the List of major crop species.

Article 3. The Director of the Department of Crop Production and heads of units of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, directors of provincial-level Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, and related organizations and individuals shall implement this Circular.

Any difficulties arising in the course of implementation of this Circular should be reported to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for consideration and settlement./.
