The List of livestock breeds that need to be imported
On December 12, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issues Circular No. 14/2023/TT-BNNPTNT promulgating the List of livestock breeds that need to be imported.
1. The List of livestock breeds that need to be imported including:
- Fighting chickens (foreign fighting chicken breeds) (Gallus gallus domesticus), except fighting chicken breeds specified in Circular No. 01/2023/TT-BKHDT;
- Foreign pigeon (Columba livia domestica);
- Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss);
- European eel (Anguilla anguilla); Flower eel (Anguilla marmorata); Ebony eel (Anguilla bicolor); Japanese eel (Anguilla japonica); Anguilla borneensis (Anguilla borneensis);
- Beluga sturgeon (Huso huso);
- Blue-spotted/White grouper/Small-spotted grouper (Plectropomus leopardus);
- Brown-flowered grouper/tiger grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus);
- Humpback grouper (Cromileptes altivelis);
- Areolate grouper (Epinephelus areolatus); Flat grouper (Duskytail bleekeri); Giant grouper (Epinephelus lanceolatus); Spotted coralgrouper (Plectropomus maculatus);...
2. The import of livestock breeds and aquatic breeds must comply with the Law on Animal Husbandry, the Law on Fisheries and relevant legal documents.
