RESOLUTION

On visa exemption under the Tourism Stimulus Programme for 2025 for citizens of the Republic of Poland, the Czech Republic, and the Swiss Confederation

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015 and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Administration dated November 22, 2019;

Pursuant to the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam dated June 16, 2014, and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam dated November 25, 2019; the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam dated June 24, 2023;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 39/2022/ND-CP dated June 18, 2022, on promulgating the Working Regulation of the Government;

At the proposal of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Document No. 22/BVHTTDL-DLQGVN dated January 13, 2025, on short-term visa exemption for citizens of Poland, Czech Republic and Switzerland;

At the proposal of the Minister of Public Security in Document No. 25/TTr-BCA dated January 13, 2025;

Based on the Government members’ voting results.

RESOLVES:

Article 1. To exempt visa for citizens of the Republic of Poland, the Czech Republic, and the Swiss Confederation for a temporary stay of up to 45 days from the date of entry for tourism purposes under programs organized by Vietnamese enterprises providing international travel services, regardless of passport types, provided that they satisfy conditions for entry as prescribed by Vietnamese laws.

Article 2. The policy on entry visa exemption for citizens of the countries specified in Article 1 shall be implemented from March 1, 2025, to the end of December 31, 2025, under the Tourism Stimulus Programme for 2025.

Article 3. This Resolution takes effect from the date of its signing.

Article 4. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of Government-attached agencies, and Chairpersons of Peoples Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities shall implement this Resolution.
