DECREE
On amending and supplementing Article 3 of the Government’s Decree No. 02/2018/ND-CP dated January 04, 2018, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Vietnam Television

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 10/2016/ND-CP dated February 01, 2016 on government-attached agencies;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 47/2019/ND-CP dated June 05, 2019 amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2016/ND-CP dated February 01, 2016 on government-attached agencies;
At the request of the Minister of Information and Communications;
The Government promulgates the Decree amending and supplementing Article 3 of the Government’s Decree No. 02/2018/ND-CP dated January 04, 2018, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Vietnam Television.
Article 1. Amending and supplementing Article 3 of the Government’s Decree No. 02/2018/ND-CP dated January 04, 2018, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Vietnam Television as follows:
“Article 3. Organizational structure
1. Office.
2. Organization and Personnel Department.
3. Planning and Finance Department.
4. Inspection Department.
5. International Cooperation Department.
6. Editorial Secretariat Department.
7. News Department.
8. Science and Education Department.
9. Ethnic Minority Language Television Department.
10. Foreign Affairs Television Department.
11. Literature and Arts Department.
12. Entertainment Program Production Department.
13. Sports Program Production Department.
14. Cable Television Editorial Department.
15. Youth Department.
16. Documentary and Reportage Production Center.
17. Television Film Production Center.
18. Archive Center.
18. Vietnam Television Center in the Southern region.
20. Vietnam Television Center in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
21. Digital Content Production and Development Center.
22. Vietnam Television’s overseas resident bureaus established in accordance with law.
23. Program Production Technique Center.
24. Transmission and Broadcasting Technique Center.
25. Fine Arts Center.
26. Vietnam Television Training Center.
27. Television Advertising and Services Center.
28. Television Technology and Informatics Center.
The units prescribed from Clause 1 to Clause 5 of this Article shall assist the General Director. The unit defined in Clause 6 shall assist the General Director and perform program production and broadcasting. The units specified from Clause 7 to Clause 25 are units in charge of program production and broadcasting. The units defined from Clause 26 to Clause 28 are other non-business units.
The General Director of Vietnam Television shall report to the Prime Minister for consultancy on the establishment, dissolution and arrangement of other units under his/her competence in accordance with law regulations.
The Editorial Secretariat Department shall be organized with 15 divisions; the Office, 10 divisions.”
Article 2. Effect and implementation responsibilities
1. This Decree takes effect on May 10, 2020.
2. The Minister of Information and Communications, General Director of Vietnam Television, ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, chairpersons of People’s Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decree./.
