Decision 616/QD-BYT 2022 correcting Decision 604/QD-BYT promulgating the Guidance on home-based management of people infected with COVID-19

DECISION

On the correction of the Minister of Health's Decision No. 604/QD-BYT dated March 14, 2022, promulgating "the Guidance on home-based management of people infected with COVID-19"

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases dated 2007;

Pursuant to the 2009 Law on Medical Examination and Treatment;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 75/2017/ND-CP dated June 20, 2017, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

At the proposal of the Director of the Medical Services Administration under the Ministry of Health.

DECIDES:

          Article 1. To correct a number of contents in the “Guidance on home-based management of people infected with COVID-19” promulgated in the Decision No. 604/QD-BYT dated March 14, 2022, as follows:

1. Point a, section 5.4 “a) People infected with COVID-19 must avoid leaving the isolation area. If leaving the isolation area, they must wear facemasks and keep a safe distance from others”, is corrected as follows:

“a) People infected with COVID-19 must avoid leaving the isolation room and they are not allowed to leave home. If leaving the isolation room, they must wear facemasks and keep a safe distance from others in the same household.”

2. Section 5.1.3 “Adults (over 16 years old)” is corrected to: “Persons over 16 years old”.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of its signing and promulgation.

Article 3. The Chief of Office of the Ministry of Health, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Health, General Directors of General Departments and Directors of Departments under the Ministry of Health, Directors of provincial and municipal-level Health Departments, Directors of Hospitals directly run by the Ministry of Health, leaders in charge of health of all sectors shall be responsible for implementing this Decision./.
