DECISION

On promulgating the Regulation (template) on organization and operation of intensive care centers for patients with COVID-19 of hospitals under the Ministry of Health

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 75/2017/ND-CP dated June 20, 2017 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 120/2020/ND-CP dated October 07, 2020 defining the establishment, reorganization and dissolution of public non-business units;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 60/2021/ND-CP dated June 21, 2021 defining the financial autonomy mechanism of public non-business units;

Pursuant to the Government's Resolution No. 78/NQ-CP dated July 20, 2021 on the Government’s meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control;

Pursuant to the Government's Resolution No. 86/NQ-CP dated August 6, 2021 on urgent measures to prevent and control COVID-19 pandemic;

Pursuant to the Minister of Health’ Decision No. 3616/QD-BYT dated July 29, 2021 on approving the Scheme “Strengthening emergency and intensive care capacity for centers of treatment for patients with severe COVID-19”;

At the proposal of the Director of the Organization and Personnel Department.

DECIDES:

Article 1. To promulgate together with this Decision the Regulation (template) on organization and operation of intensive care centers (or hospitals) for patients with COVID-19 of hospitals under the Ministry of Health that are based in localities, units other than headquarters of such hospitals.

Article 2. Directors of hospitals under the Ministry of Health shall, based on law regulations and the Regulation (template) issued together with this Decision, develop and promulgate Regulations on organization and operation of their Intensive Care Centers for patients with COVID-19.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect on the signing date.

Chief of the Ministry Office, Directors of departments, agencies and hospitals under the Ministry of Health, heads of relevant agencies and units shall implement this Decision./.
