DECISION

PROVIDING FOR THE REGIME OF ALLOWANCES FOR PRISON MANAGEMENT

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government on the 30th of September 1992;

Pursuant to Decree No.25-CP on the 23rd of May 1993 of the Government providing for the provisional regime of new wages of public servants and employees in the administrative, public services and the armed forces;

At the proposal of the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To provide for the regime of allowances for prison management applicable to the officers and combatants directly working at the prisons and the industrial and agricultural general education schools under the management of the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defense (not including the places of temporary detention).

The allowances represent 25%, 15% and 5% of the grade and rank wages (for wage-earning public servants), or military rank allowances (for soldiers receiving monthly living allowances).

Article 2.- This regime of allowances takes effect from the 1st of May 1995.

The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior, and the Ministry of Defense shall provide detailed guidance for the implementation of this Decision.

Article 3.- The Ministers, the Heads of ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of agencies attached to the Government, and the Presidents of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall have to implement this Decision.
