THE PRIME MINISTER

Decision No. 285/QD-TTg dated February 05, 2013 of the Prime Minister on Tho Xuan Airport launching

Pursuant to the Law on Government organization of December 25, 2001;

Pursuant to the Law on Vietnam Civil Aviation of June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 83/2007/ND-CP dated May 25, 2007 of the Government on management and operation of airports and airfields;

At the proposal of The Minister of Transport at the Report No. 909/BGTVT-KCHT, of January 29, 2013,

Article 1. To approve the opening of Tho Xuan airport for civil aviation operation, with the following principal contents:

1. Position:

- Tho Xuan airport shall be in administrative border of Sao Vang town, Tho Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province;

+ The East adjacent to Xuan Tan, Xuan Vinh hamlets – Xuan Hung commune;

+ The West adjacent to Dong Tien hamlet – Tho Lam commune;

+ The South adjacent to Ngoc Lap, Dong Thanh hamlets – Xuan Son commune;

+ The North adjacent to Quan Ngoc hamlet – Tho Lam commune;

- The reference point coordinates of airport: The reference point coordinates of airport are intersections of road axle CHC 13/31 and rolling road axle S4, with coordinates: 19°54'09''B - 105°28'09''D (the coordinate system WGS-84).

2. Type of airport: Domestic airport, allowed receive regularly-scheduled and irregularly-scheduled flights.

3. Nature of use: Shared in civil and military flights.

4. Scale: Airport of level 4C, receiving aircraft types of A320, A321 and equivalent or lower.

The customer station with capacity of 600,000 passengers/ year; 190 passengers/ rush-hour.

5. Enterprises operating airport: The Airports Corporation of Vietnam.

Article 2. This Decree takes effect on the signing date.

Article 3. Ministers, heads of Ministerial agencies, heads of relevant agencies and units shall implement this Decision.
