DECISION

On amending and supplementing a number of Articles of the Decision No. 02/2016/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2016 of the Prime Minister on conditions for announcement of epidemics and their termination

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015;

Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases dated November 21, 2007;

At the proposal of the Minister of Health,

The Prime Minister hereby promulgates the Decision on amending and supplementing a number of Articles of the Decision No. 02/2016/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2016 of the Prime Minister on conditions for announcement of epidemics and their termination.

Article 1. To add the Appendix providing regulations on the average incubation period and the period of non-detection of a new case of infectious diseases as a basis for the announcement of epidemics termination issued together with Decision No. 02/2016/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2016

To add the average incubation period and the period of non-detection of a new case of infection with the COVID-19 disease (formerly known as acute respiratory infection caused by a new strain of Coronavirus) in the Appendix on providing regulations on the average incubation period and the period of non-detection of a new case of infectious diseases as a basis for the announcement of epidemics termination issued together with Decision No. 02/2016/QD-TTg dated January 28, 2016.

Article 2. Effect and organization of implementation

1. This Decision takes effect on the date of its signing.

2. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, presidents of People's Committees of centrally run provinces and cities and concerned organizations and individuals are responsible for the implementation of this Decision./.
