CIRCULAR

ON THE LIST OF SUPPORTED AGRICULTURAL AND AQUACULTURAL PRODUCTS ACCORDING TO THE PRIME MINISTER’S DECISION NO. 01/2012/QĐ-TTG DATED JANUARY 09, 2012 ON SOME POLICIES SUPPORTING THE APPLICATION OF GOOD AGRICULTURAL PRACTICE TO AGRICULTURE, SILVICULTURE, AND AQUACULTURE

Pursuant to the Government s Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 03^rd2008, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development; the Government s Decree No. 75/2009/NĐ-CP dated September 10^th2009, amending Article 3 of the Government s Decree No. 01/2008/NĐ-CP dated January 03^rd2008, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development;

Implementing the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 01/2012/QĐ-TTG dated January 09th 2012 on some policies supporting the application of Good agricultural practice to agriculture, silviculture, and aquaculture.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development promulgates the List of supported agricultural and aquacultural productsaccording tothe Prime Minister’s Decision No. 01/2012/QĐ-TTG dated January 09th 2012 on some policies supporting the application of Good agricultural practice to agriculture, silviculture, and aquaculture (hereinafter referred to as the Decision No.  01/2012/QĐ-TTg) as follows:

Article 1.Agricultural and aquacultural products shall be selected and added in the List of supported products according to the Decision No. 01/2012/QĐ-TTg when they satisfy the following conditions:

1. The products are regulated by a National Technical Regulation on the conditions for food safety during the production, preparation, or VietGAP, or other GAP, or standards of organic agriculture announced by the Ministry of Science and Technology, or other standards of organic agriculture recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development.

2. Major products being exported or sold at home.

Article 2.List of supported agricultural and aquacultural products according to the Decision No. 01/2012/QĐ-TTg 

1. Farming products: vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, pepper, rice;

2. Breeding products: swine, poultry, dairy cows, bees;

3. Aquacultural products: pangasius, giant tiger prawns, whiteleg shrimps, tilapias.

Article 3. Implementation provisions

1. This Circular takes effect on December 12^th2012.

2. Organizations and individuals are recommended to send feedbacks on the difficulties arising during the course of implementation to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development for appropriate amendment and supplementation.

3. The Chief of the Ministry Office, the Director of the Directorate of Fisheries, the Director of the Department of Farming, the Director of the Department of Breeding, the Director of the Legal Department, Heads of Ministerial units, relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for the implementation of this Circular./.
