RESOLUTION

On the determination of the scope of the A Pa Chai bilateral border gate area, Dien Bien province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015;

Pursuant to the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Administration dated November 22, 2019;

Pursuant to the Law on National Boundaries 2003;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 112/2014/ND-CP dated November 21, 2014, providing the management of land border gates;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 34/2023/ND-CP dated June 16, 2023, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government's Decree No. 112/2014/ND-CP dated November 21, 2014, providing the management of land border gates;

According to the proposal of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province in Official Submission No. 295/TTr-UBND dated January 21, 2025.

HEREBY RESOLVES:

Article 1. To approve the scope of the A Pa Chai bilateral border gate area as proposed by the People's Committee of Dien Bien province in Official Submission No. 295/TTr-UBND dated January 21, 2025.

Article 2. The Ministry of National Defence shall direct the establishment of a control barrier system and technical structures, determine the boundary between the border gate area and other areas; maintain and ensure political security, social order and safety in the border gate area in accordance with the Government's Decree No. 112/2014/ND-CP dated November 21, 2014, providing the management of land border gates; and the Government's Decree No. 34/2023/ND-CP dated June 16, 2023, amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government's Decree No. 112/2014/ND-CP dated November 21, 2014, providing the management of land border gates.

Article 3. This Resolution takes effect from the date of its signing and promulgation.

Article 4. The Minister of National Defence, the Chairperson of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province, and the Heads of relevant agencies and units shall be responsible for implementing this Resolution./.
