RESOLUTION
Amending the Government’s Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP of March 15, 2022, on visa exemption for citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of France, the Republic of Italy, the Kingdom of Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Russian Federation, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of Finland, and the Republic of Belarus[1]
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the June 19, 2015 Law on Organization of the Government; and the November 22, 2019 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Administration;
Pursuant to the June 16, 2014 Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam and the November 25, 2019 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam; and the June 24, 2023 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in Vietnam;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 39/2022/ND-CP of June 18, 2022, promulgating the Working Regulation of the Government;
At the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Document No. 3734/TTr-BNG-LS of August 3, 2023,
Based on votes of the cabinet members,
RESOLVES:
Article 1. To amend Article 1 of Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP of March 15, 2022, as follows:
To grant visa exemption for citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of France, the Republic of Italy, the Kingdom of Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Russian Federation, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway, the Republic of Finland, and the Republic of Belarus who enter Vietnam and stay for a period of 45 days counting from the date of entry, regardless of their type of passport and purpose of entry, provided that they fully satisfy the conditions for entry specified in Vietnam’s law.
Article 2. This Resolution takes effect on August 15, 2023.
Article 3. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, chairpersons of provincial-level People’s Committees, and related agencies shall implement this Resolution.-
