Circular 22/2023/TT-BCA amend document forms for entry, exit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam

CIRCULAR

Modifying and supplementing a number of forms issued together with the Minister of Public Security’s Circular No. 04/2015/TT-BCA of January 5, 2015, providing for forms related to foreigners’ entry into, exit from, and residence in, Vietnam, which has a number of articles amended and supplemented under the Minister of Public Security’s Circular No. 57/2020/TT-BCA of June 10, 2020^[1]

Pursuant to the June 16, 2014 Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in, Vietnam;

Pursuant to the November 25, 2019 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in, Vietnam;

Pursuant to the June 24, 2023 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through, and Residence in, Vietnam;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 01/2018/ND-CP of August 6, 2018, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Public Security;

At the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Immigration Department;

The Minister of Public Security promulgates the Circular modifying and supplementing a number of forms issued together with the Minister of Public Security’s Circular No. 04/2015/TT-BCA of January 5, 2015, providing forms related to foreigners’ entry into, exit from, and residence in, Vietnam, which has a number of articles amended and supplemented under the Minister of Public Security’s Circular No. 57/2020/TT-BCA of June 10, 2020.

Article 1. To modify and supplement a number of forms issued together with the Minister of Public Security’s Circular No. 04/2015/TT-BCA of January 5, 2015, providing for forms related to foreigners’ entry into, exit from, and residence in, Vietnam, which has a number of articles amended and supplemented under the Minister of Public Security’s Circular No. 57/2020/TT-BCA of June 10, 2020

1. To modify and supplement Form NA1a: Vietnamese electronic visa application form.

2. To modify and supplement Form NA3: Sponsorship application form for foreign family members to enter Vietnam.

3. To modify and supplement Form NA5: Application form for visa issuance, stay extension.

4. To modify and supplement Form NA7: Sponsorship application form for a temporary residence card.

5. To modify and supplement Form NA11: Sponsorship application form for foreigners’ permanent residence in Vietnam.

6. To modify and supplement Form NA13: Application form for permanent residence card renewal/reissuance.

7. To modify and supplement Form NA15: Application form for family members to enter restricted areas, border areas.

8. To modify and supplement Form NB8: Official Letter on response to request for e-account issuance.

9. To modify and supplement Form NC2: Loose-leaf visa.

10. To modify and supplement Form NC2a: E-visa.

Article 2. Implementation provisions and transitional provisions

1. This Circular takes effect on August 15, 2023.

2. Loose-leaf visas and e-visas issued before the effective date of this Circular remain valid for entry into and exit from Vietnam till their expiry dates.-
