Circular 09/2024/TT-BXD amend construction norms issued under Circular 12/2021/TT-BXD

CIRCULAR

Amending and supplementing a number of construction norms issued under the Minister of Construction’s Circular No. 12/2021/TT-BXD of August 31, 2021^[1]

Pursuant to the June 18, 2014 Law on Construction (which is amended and supplemented under the June 17, 2020 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Construction;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 52/2022/ND-CP of August 8, 2022, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Construction;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 10/2021/ND-CP of February 9, 2021, on the management of construction investment costs (which has a number of articles amended and supplemented under the Government’s Decree No. 35/2023/ND-CP of June 20, 2023);

At the proposal of the Director of the Construction Economics Department and the Director of the Construction Economics Institute;

The Minister of Construction promulgates the Circular amending and supplementing a number of construction norms issued under the Minister of Construction’s Circular No. 12/2021/TT-BXD of August 31, 2021.

Article 1. To amend and supplement a number of construction norms, including: norms of work construction cost estimates, norms of cost estimates for installation of machinery and technological equipment, norms of cost estimates for work construction repair and maintenance, construction material use norms, and norms of project management and construction investment consultancy expenses issued under the Minister of Construction’s Circular No. 12/2021/TT-BXD of August 31, 2021. Details are provided in the Appendices to this Circular.

Article 2. Transitional provisions

The transitional application of the amended and supplemented construction norms issued under this Circular must comply with Clause 8, Article 44 of the Government’s Decree No. 10/2021/ND-CP of February 9, 2021, on the management of construction investment costs.

Article 3. Implementation provisions

This Circular takes effect on October 15, 2024.-
