RESOLUTION
On adjustments to the 2024 Law- and Ordinance-Making Program[1]
THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY STANDING COMMITTEE
Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to Law No. 57/2014/QH13 on Organization of the National Assembly, which has a number of articles amended and supplemented under Law No. 65/2020/QH14;
Pursuant to Law No. 80/2015/QH13 on Promulgation of Legal Documents, which has a number of articles amended and supplemented under Law No. 63/2020/QH14;
Considering the Government’s Report No. 32/TTr-CP of October 7, 2024, and Report No. 137/BC-UBPL15-m of October 15, 2024, of the Standing Body of the National Assembly’s Law Committee;
RESOLVES:
Article 1. Adjustments to the 2024 Law- and Ordinance-Making Program
To add the National Assembly’s draft Resolution on specific mechanisms and policies to remove project- and land-related difficulties and obstacles in inspection and examination conclusions and judgments in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang city, and Khanh Hoa province to the 2024 Law- and Ordinance-Making Program for submission to the National Assembly for opinion and passage at the 8th session (October 2024) according to the procedures for consideration and passage of laws at a single session and fast-track procedures.
Article 2. Organization of implementation
The Government shall submit, and the Economic Committee shall assume the prime responsibility for, while the Ethnic Council and other Committees of the National Assembly shall participate in, the examination of the National Assembly’s draft Resolution on specific mechanisms and policies to remove project- and land-related difficulties and obstacles in inspection and examination conclusions and judgments in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang city, and Khanh Hoa province.
Article 3. Effect
This Resolution takes effect on the date of its adoption.
This Resolution was adopted on October 16, 2024, by the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.-
