Decree 109/2024/ND-CP registration fee rates applicable to domestically manufactured and assembled automobiles, trailers or semi-trailers pulled by automobiles

DECREE

Providing the registration fee rates for automobiles, trailers or semi-trailers towed by automobiles and similar vehicles that are domestically manufactured and assembled^[1]

Pursuant to the June 19, 2015 Law on Organization of the Government; and the November 22, 2019 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Administration;

Pursuant to the November 25, 2015 Law on Charges and Fees;

At the proposal of the Minister of Finance;

The Government promulgates the Decree providing the registration fee rates for automobiles, trailers or semi-trailers towed by automobiles and similar vehicles that are domestically manufactured and assembled. 

Article 1. Initial registration fee rates for automobiles, trailers or semi-trailers towed by automobiles and similar vehicles that are domestically manufactured and assembled

1. From the effective date of this Decree through November 30, 2024: The registration fee rate is equal to 50% of the fee level specified in the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP of January 15, 2022, providing the registration fee; and Resolutions currently in effect of provincial-level People’s Council or Decisions currently in effect of provincial-level People’s Committees on registration fee rates applied in localities, and amending, supplementing or replacing documents (if any).

2. From December 1, 2024, onward: Registration fee rates must continue to comply with the Government’s Decree No. 10/2022/ND-CP of January 15, 2022, providing the registration fee; and Resolutions currently in effect of provincial-level People’s Council or Decisions currently in effect of provincial-level People’s Committees on registration fee rates in localities, and amending, supplementing or replacing documents (if any).

Article 2. Effect      

1. This Decree takes effect from September 1, 2024, through November 30, 2024.

2. Ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies, chairpersons of provincial-level People’s Committees, and related organizations and individuals shall implement this Decree.-
