Cessation of the effect of Clause 1, Article 7 and Clause 2, Article 75 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment’s Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTNMT dated January 10, 2022, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection

Pursuant to the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents dated June 22, 2015, and the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents dated June 18, 2020;

Pursuant to the Law on Environment Protection dated November 17, 2020;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP dated January 10, 2022, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environment Protection;

Pursuant to Government’s Decree No. 68/2022/ND-CP dated September 22, 2022, defining the functions, tasks, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment;

At the proposal of the Director of the Pollution Control Department;

The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment hereby promulgates the Circular on cessation of the effect of Clause 1, Article 7 and Clause 2, Article 75 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment’s Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTNMT dated January 10, 2022, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection.

Article 1. Cessation of effect

To cease the effect of the provisions of Clause 1, Article 7 and Clause 2, Article 75 of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment’s Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTNMT dated January 10, 2022, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection.

Article 2. Effect

1. This Circular takes effect from the date of its signing.

2. The period of cessation of the provisions specified in Article 1 of this Circular starts from the date this Circular takes effect to the effective date of the newly issued legislative document providing for regulations on such provisions.

Article 3. Organization of implementation

1. The Director of the Pollution Control Department shall guide and organize the implementation of this Circular.

2. Provincial-level People's Committees, provincial-level Departments of Natural Resources and Environment and concerned organizations and individuals shall implement this Circular./.
