Regarding visa exemption policy for foreigners on entry into Phu Quoc Economic Zone, Kien Giang Province

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015;

Pursuant to the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam dated June 16, 2014;

Pursuant to the Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Foreigners’ Entry in, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam dated November 25, 2019;

At the proposal of Minister of Public Security,

RESOLVES:

Article 1.Phu Quoc Economic Zone, Kien Giang Province is an coastal economic zone that is applied the visa exemption policy for the foreigners on entry as prescribedin Clause 7, Article 1of The Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Foreigners’ Entry in, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam dated November 25, 2019.

Article 2.This Resolution takes effect on July 01, 2020.

Article 3.Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, government-attached agencies and Chairpersons of People’s Committees of provinces and central affiliated cities shall implement this Resolution.
