RESOLUTION

On the 2023 oversight program of the National Assembly

Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Pursuant to Law No. 87/2015/QH13 of the Law on Oversight Activities of the National Assembly and People’s Councils;

After examining the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Recommendation Report No. 221/TTr-UBTVQH15 of May 20, 2022, on the 2023 tentative oversight program of the National Assembly; and Report No. 234/BC-UBTVQH15 of June 1, 2022, on assimilation of and explanation about opinions of National Assembly deputies on the 2023 tentative oversight program of the National Assembly;  

RESOLVES:

Article 1. Contents of the oversight program

1. At the 5^th session

a/ Examining the Government’s reports on additional evaluation of results of the implementation of the 2022 socio-economic development and state budget plans; the practical implementation of the 2023 socio-economic development and state budget plans in the first months of the year; the 2021 state financial report; the 2021 state budget finalization report; and the report on thrift practice and wastefulness combat in 2022;

b/ Examining the National Assembly Standing Committee’s report on results of the oversight of the settlement of voters’ recommendations sent to the 4^th session;

c/ Making questions and answers to questions of National Assembly deputies;

d/ Examining the topical oversight report on “the mobilization, management and use of resources for the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, and the implementation of grassroots health and preventive medicine policies and laws”;    

dd/ Examining the National Assembly Standing Committee’s report on implementation of oversight recommendations of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Nationality Council, the National Assembly’s Committees, deputy delegations and deputies (if any);
