RESOLUTION
Approving the proposal for formulating a National Assembly’s Resolution on extension of the effect of the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 42/2017/QH14 on pilot handling of non-performing loans of credit institutions
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the June 19, 2015 Law on Organization of the Government; and the November 22, 2019 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Organization of the Government and the Law on Organization of Local Administration;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 138/2016/ND-CP of October 1, 2016, promulgating the Government’s Working Regulation;
At the proposal of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam in Report No. 12/TTr-NHNN of March 15, 2022;
Based on voting results of the Government’s members,
RESOLVES:
Article 1.
1. To approve the State Bank of Vietnam’s proposal for formulating a National Assembly’s Resolution on extension of the effect of the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 42/2017/QH14 on pilot handling of non-performing loans of credit institutions.
2. To assign the State Bank of Vietnam to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with related agencies in, expeditiously studying and formulating a National Assembly’s Resolution on extension of the effect of the National Assembly’s Resolution No. 42/2017/QH14 of June 21, 2017, on pilot handling of non-performing loans of credit institutions, for submission to the National Assembly under regulations, ensuring the quality, effectiveness, promptness and compliance with prescribed order and procedures and laws.
Article 2. This Resolution takes effect on the date of its signing.
Article 3. The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, and related agencies shall implement this Resolution.-
