To suspend visa exemption for citizens of Japan, Russia and Belarus from 12:00 on March 21, 2020
On March 19, 2020, the Government issues the Resolution No. 33/NQ-CP on temporary suspension of unilateral visa exemption policy for citizens of Japan, Russia and Belarus.
Accordingly, to temporarily suspend the unilateral visa exemption policy for citizens of Japan, Russia and Belarus from 12:00 on March 21, 2020.
This Resolution takes effect on the signing date.

On temporary suspension of unilateral visa exemption policy for citizens of Japan, Russia and Belarus

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated June 19, 2015;
Pursuant to the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam dated June 16, 2014;
At the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Report No. 696/TTr-BNG-LS-m dated March 18, 2020,
RESOLVES:
Article 1. To temporarily suspend the unilateral visa exemption policy for citizens of Japan, Russia and Belarus from 12:00 on March 21, 2020.
Article 2. This Resolution takes effect on the date of its signing.
