Add 3 draft laws to the 2023 law- and ordinance-making program
Resolution No. 33/2023/UBTVQH15 adjusting the 2023 law- and ordinance-making program is passed on March 17, 2023 by the National Assembly Standing Committee.
Accordingly, to add the draft Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on the People’s Public Security Forces to the 2023 law- and ordinance-making program for submission to the National Assembly for opinions and passage at its 5th session (May 2023) according to the process for consideration and passage of law at a single session. Concurrently, to add the following draft laws to the 2023 law- and ordinance-making program for submission to the National Assembly for opinions at its 5th session (May 2023) and passage at its 6th session (October 2023): Law on Citizen Identification (amended); Law on Credit Institutions (amended).
Besides, the National Assembly Standing Committee also assigns agencies to submit, verify, and participate in verification of, draft laws that are added to the 2023 law- and ordinance-making program. To be specifically, the National Assembly’s National Defense and Security Committee shall be in charge of verification of the Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on the People’s Public Security Forces; and the Ethnic Council and other Committees of the National Assembly shall participate in verification of such draft law, etc.
This Resolution takes effect on the date of its adoption.
