Resolution No. 24/NQ-CP 2021 formulation of a Decree on customs management of transactions in e-commerce activities

RESOLUTION

Approving the proposal for formulation of a Decree on customs management of exported and imported goods traded via e-commerce platforms^[1]

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the June 19, 2015 Law on Organization of the Government;

Pursuant to the June 22, 2015 Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents;

Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 138/2016/ND-CP of October 1, 2016, promulgating the Working Regulation of the Government;

At the proposal of the Minister of Finance in Report No. 186/TTr-BTC of October 13, 2020;

On the basis of the Government members’ voting results,

RESOLVES:

Article 1. To approve the proposal for formulation of a Decree on customs management of exported and imported goods traded via e-commerce platforms.

To assign the Ministry of Finance to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with related ministries and agencies in, studying and formulating the Decree under the Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents and relevant legal documents for submission to the Government in the fourth quarter of 2021.

Article 2. This Resolution takes effect on the date of its signing.

Article 3. The Minister of Finance, ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies, heads of government-attached agencies and related agencies, organizations and individuals shall implement this Resolution.-
