Resolution 194/2025/QH15 on amendment and supplementation of the 2013 Constitution

RESOLUTION

On the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution^[1]

THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

Pursuant to the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Considering the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Report No. 1261/TTr-UBTVQH15 of April 23, 2025, on the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, and National Assembly deputies’ opinions;

RESOLVES:

Article 1.

To decide to consider the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to implement the policy of arrangement and streamlining of the political system’s organizational apparatus, focusing on regulations on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and delineation of administrative units and organization of local administrations.

Article 2.   

The National Assembly shall establish the Committee for drafting amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with agencies in, performing the task of formulating the draft Resolution on the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and submit it to the National Assembly for consideration and passage at the 9^th session.

This Resolution was adopted on May 5, 2025, by the 15^th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at its 9^th session.-
