RESOLUTION

RATIFYING THE STATE PRESIDENT’S PROPOSAL ON THE LIST OF THE VICE-PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE DEFENSE AND SECURITY COUNCIL

THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to Articles 84, 103 and 104 of the 1992 Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, which was amended and supplemented under Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 of December 25, 2001 of the X^th National Assembly, the 10th session; Article 81 of the Law on Organization of the National Assembly; and Article 15 of the Regulations on National Assembly sessions;

Pursuant to the August 8, 2002 record on the results of voting by the National Assembly to ratify the State President’s proposal on the list of the Vice-President and members of the Defense and Security Council,

RESOLVES:

To ratify the State President’s proposal on the list of the Vice-President and members of the Defense and Security Council, which includes:

VICE-PRESIDENT:

Mr. Phan Van Khai

MEMBERS:

Mr. Nguyen Van An

Mr. Pham Van Tra

Mr. Le Hong Anh

Mr. Nguyen Dy Nien.

This Resolution was adopted by the XI^th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the August 8, 2002 meeting of its first session.
