Official Dispatch No. 8353/NHNN-TTGSNH dated November 01, 2010 of the State Bank of Vietnam on the implementation of provisions of the Circular No. 13/2010/TT-NHNN and Circular No.19/2010/TT-NHNN

- Credit institutions;

- State Bank’s branches in provinces, cities.

On 20 May 2010, the Governor issued the Circular No.13/2010/TT-NHNN on providing for the prudential ratios in activities of credit institutions (Circular 13), and the Circular No.19/2010/TT-NHNN on the amendment, supplement of several articles of the Circular 13 (Circular 19) on 27 September 2010. With a view to implementing the said Circulars, the Governor of the State Bank hereby requires:

1. For credit institutions (CIs):

To continue completing the organization, officers, technological renovation, internal regulations to ensure the serious implementation of provisions of the Circular 13, Circular 19.

2. For State Bank’s branches in provinces, cities:

For State Bank’s branches in provinces, cities where head offices of CIs are located: to supervise, manage CIs in the local area as to the organization, implementation of the Circular 13 and Circular 19 mentioned above, ensuring the compliance with provisions of applicable laws. To timely report the Governor of the SBV about any CI that fails to seriously implement the Circular 13, Circular 19.

For State Bank’s branches in other provinces, cities: to supervise, manage CIs in the local area, coordinating, exchanging with and supplying information to State Bank’s branches in provinces, cities where head offices of CIs are located, ensuring the serious implementation of the above mentioned Circular 13 and Circular 19 by credit institutions.

The State Bank would like to notify concerned units for information and implementation.
