Official Dispatch No. 5147/VPCP-KTN dated July 28, 2011 of the Government Office licensing iron mineral activities in Son La province

To:

- Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Ministry of Industry and Trade;

- Son La People’s Committee.

At the proposal of Son La People’s Committee (Official Dispatch No. 893/UBND-KTN dated May 18, 2011), opinions of Ministry of Industry (Official Dispatch No. 5311/BCT-CNNg dated June 15, 2011), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (Official Dispatch No. 2322/BTNMT-DCKS dates June 27, 2011) on licensing iron mineral activities in Son La province, Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Hoang Trung Hai. has opinions as follows:

1. To appoint Son La People’s Committee to manage in licensing mineral activities in 05 iron deposits in Son La provinces: Muong Trai, Nam Pam commune, Muong La suburban district; (2) Cu mountain village, Huy Tan commune, Phu Yen suburban district; (3) Lem mountain village, Huy Tan commune, Phu Yen suburban district; (4) Py Toong, Chieng Te mountain village, It Ong town, Muong La suburban district; (5) Chanh mountain village (Suoi Sau), Suoi Sau mountain village, Song Khua communne, Moc Chau suburban disitrct.

2. Son La People’s Committee takes prime responsibility and coordinates with General Department of Geology and Minerals of Vietnam in guiding investors to evaluate and supplement above 5 ore deposits as the basis for managing and licensing mineral activities in the region.

The Office Government informs relevant agencies for acknowledgement and implementation./.
