No. 49/CV-NHNN1 On editing the Official Dispatch No. 34/CV-NHNN1 dated 7 January, 2000	Hanoi, January 13^th , 2000

To: Credit Institutions

The State Bank of Vietnam has issued on 7 January, 2000 the Official Dispatch No. 34/CV-NHNN1 on lending without asset security to public employees and collecting payment from salaries, allowances and other incomes which shall be effective from 14 January, 2000. Because of the typing error, the State Bank of Vietnam edits provisions in paragraph dd/2 as follow:

"Commit to implement asset security upon a request of credit institution in the event public employees misuse the loans as committed in the loan contract; commit to repay before the due date if they could not provide the asset security as provided for in this paragraph".

The State Bank of Vietnam would like to inform credit institutions about the above-mentioned edit for information and implementation.
