RESOLUTION
On visa exemption for citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of France, the Republic of Italy, the Kingdom of Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Russian Federation, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland

THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated February 18, 2025;
Pursuant to the June 16, 2014 Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam; the November 25, 2019 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam; and the June 24, 2023 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 39/2022/ND-CP dated June 18, 2022 on promulgating the Working Regulation of the Government;
At the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Document No. 3762/TTr-BNG- LS-m dated October 31, 2024;
Based on the cabinet members’ opinions,
RESOLVES:
Article 1. To grant visa exemption for citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of France, the Republic of Italy, the Kingdom of Spain, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Russian Federation, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Finland who enter Vietnam and stay for a period of 45 days counting from the date of entry, regardless of their type of passport and purpose of entry, provided that they fully satisfy the conditions for entry specified in Vietnam’s law.
Article 2. The policy on visa exemption upon entry into Vietnam for citizens of the countries mentioned in Article 1 shall be implemented from March 15, 2025, through March 14, 2028, and such period will be considered for extension in accordance with Vietnam’s law.
Article 3. The Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP dated March 15, 2022 and Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023 of the Government shall cease to be effective from March 15, 2025./.
