To 2025: 100% trade promotion will be qualified for online public services

This is one of the important objectives prescribed at the Decision No. 1968/QD-TTg on approving the Scheme on boosting information technology application and digital transformation in trade promotion activities in the 2021-2030 period is issued by the Prime Minister on November 22, 2021.

Accordingly, to boost information technology application and digital transformation in trade promotion activities in order to improve operational quality and effectiveness trade promotion support organizations, this Scheme set the specific targets in 2025 as follows:

- To build and form a Digital Trade Promotion Ecosystem.

- 100% administrative procedures in the field of trade promotion will be qualified for provision of online public services at levels 3 and 4 and integrated on the National Public Service Portal, with 90% of enterprises satisfied with the results of settlement of administrative procedures in the electronic environment.

- 100% trade promotion organizations and over 200,000 enterprises will be granted accounts on the Digital Trade Promotion Ecosystem, of which 50% will have transactions and information sharing operations.

- Specialized databases on trade promotion and 10 key export industries will be formed, linked and inter-connected with databases on 10 key export markets.

- Twenty-five percent of market linkage services will be provided on platforms, thus linking and supporting 100,000 turns of enterprises.

- Twenty-five percent of fairs and exhibitions will be held in the digital environment.

- All trade promotion organizations and over 100,000 turns of enterprises, cooperatives and business households will be provided with training, guidance and support on information technology application and digital transformation in trade promotion and information security.

- All trade promotion organizations and over 100,000 turns of enterprises, cooperatives and business households will use, exploit and operate shared-use platforms and share data with the Digital Trade Promotion Ecosystem.

Funds for the implementation of the Scheme include: The state budget, enterprises’ capital, international donations and other lawfully mobilized funds as prescribed by law.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade shall assume the prime responsibility for organizing, guiding, urging, inspecting and supervising the implementation of the Scheme; before December 25 every year, report to the Prime Minister on the implementation of the Scheme.
