On May 09, 2022, the Prime Minister hereby issues the Decision No. 13/2022/QD-TTg on the implementation of agricultural insurance support policy.
Compared with the current regulations prescribed at the Decision No. 22/2019/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the implementation of agricultural insurance support policy.
In particulars, Insured objects eligible for agricultural insurance premium support is prescribed at the Article 3, Decision 13, includes:
- Crops: rice, rubber, pepper, cashew and coffee (supplemented with rubber, pepper, cashew and coffee).
- Livestock: buffaloes, cows and pigs (supplemented with pigs)
- Aquatic animals: black tiger shrimps and white leg shrimps and pangasius (supplemented with pangasius).
Besides, in accordance with Article 4, Decision 13, individuals engaged in agricultural production being poor households, near-poverty households are supported at the maximum level of 90% of agricultural insurance premium.
Individuals engaged in agricultural production not being poor households, near-poverty households are supported at the maximum level of 20% of agricultural insurance premium.
The Decision 13 takes effect from June 24, 2022 to December 31, 2025.
