On September 23, 2019, the Government issues Decree No. 69/2022/ND-CP on amending and supplementing a number of regulations in the marine business.
Accordingly, Decree 69/2022 amends a number of administrative procedures in the marine business, including:
- Vessel navigation route procedure (In accordance with Article 19, Decree No. 70/2016/ND-CP);
- Procedures for grant of certificates of eligibility for commercial operation of seaports (In accordance with Article 10, Decree No. 37/2017/ND-CP);
- Procedures for re-grant of certificates of eligibility for commercial operation of seaports (In accordance with Article 11, Decree No. 37/2017/ND-CP);
- Procedure for issuing the certificate for recruiting and supplying seafarers (In accordance with Article 13, Decree No. 29/2017/ND-CP);
- Procedure for issuing the conformity certificate for recruiting and supplying seafarers (In accordance with Article 14, Decree No. 29/2017/ND-CP);
All the regulations are amended and supplemented in Decree No. 69/2022 with the purpose to cut down and simplify the business conditions and regulations on the administrative procedures in order to strengthen the application of information technology and supply the online public services at level 4.
These new regulations not only create favorable conditions for enterprises but also cut down fees and charges for making administrative procedures.
This Decree takes effect on October 30, 2022.
